- Aids in weight loss. Drinking water helps you FEEL FULL so you'll eat less.
- Boosts your productivity. Being hydrated with water keeps you more focused and alert.
- Fuel your muscles. Keeping hydrated during a workout will allow you do more, go further, jump higher!
- Energizes you. If you are dehydrated you often feel tired!
- Better your digestion. Everything moves through your body with better ease when you are hydrated.
- Helps with headaches. Headaches are often a result of dehydration!
The number one reason people don't reach for water is taste. When I was a kid and I would open the refrigerator in search of something to drink and my mom would always say "there's water" and I would always respond "I don't like the taste" and she would answer back "water doesn't taste!". That the point . . . it's not exciting enough!! BUT you can make it exciting.
Choose "bubbly" water over "still" and squeeze some lemon or a splash of juice and now you have your own take on soda! Infuse your water with lemon, lime or orange slices. Add mint, rosemary and berries. The possibilities are endless so get creative.
Drink out of a fun glass or bottle. Try a wine glass or mason jar to change it up. Add a straw and now you've added a bit of fun when you drink!
AND look at this . . . . a water infuser ball!!! I picked this up on Amazon and I slice up oranges or lemons and throw it in a pitcher of water for the day. I find myself drinking more because guess what IT TASTES BETTER, it's refreshing and it's a new fun gadget. :)
